Our client in the Waukesha County area is looking for a Warehouse/Forklift Driver to join their 2nd shift team!
Duties Include:
- Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes
- Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
- Drive company vehicle for emergencies
- Required to run pick tickets
- Pull product from storage and prepare for shipment
- Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins
- Pack, seal and label to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools and power tools
- Confer and correspond with internal customers to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications
- Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
- Stack cartons on skids, stretch wrap skids, and identify contents
- Use scan gun to scan in/our product from inventory
- Load/unload trucks
- Deliver UPS and other parcels internally
- Enter data/info correctly into computer
- Stage raw material
- Support cycle counting process and variance explanation and resolution
- Participate in month end and year end physical inventory
